My allergies are unFREAKINGbelieveable this year. I can't breathe out of anywhere - mouth, nostirils -anywhere. My eyes are itching, even my skin itches. It is horrid! I cannot even fathom where all of these allergans are coming from. I was okay at the beginning of the season. What is the problem? Is it global warming? Ack, I am totally miserable.
My garden, which I have neglected to tell you about for a while, is at full ripeness. Other than my cucumbers, I had a decent harvest. I picked around 7 ears of corn, I've had some of the spinach, the basil is growing like gangbusters, my tomatoes are large and red without bug infestation and my kale is the most delicious salad green I have ever tasted.
Oh, I forgot my brusell sproats, garlic and onions. The BS's grew but never seemed to form. I have leaves galore but no sproats. I'll try again next year. The onions and garlic are MIA but I'm not worried they always appear near the end of the harvesting season.
The asparagus I planted last year will be ready next summer. I really flowered this season. It is as tall as me. I am very much looking forward to tasting the difference between store bought and fresh asparagus.
School is in its third term. There is not a lot to tell on that front.
TTYL.
