Diary 05/26

Today as I was reading the LIS 2600's general questions, I saw an excellent one from Lori Sheetz. She asked "Are we going to receive any word at all from Dr. Tomer about if he has received our files in the proper format?"  I have sent two assignments and wondered the same thing. I (we) have no idea if we are on the right track. I think I am but it could be just plain arrogance, not ignorance :o), on my part. 

Another thing, where does it say we are supposed to import everyones blogs into Google Reader? Did I miss it on the syllabus? I just happened to be scrolling through the collaboration folder, saw office hours, chat and read the recordings. Lori Sheetz, once again, asked a great question.

Finally, I don't know about anyone else but, I need transcripts for LIS 2000 and 2600 lectures. I am a tactile/kinesthetic learner. I need to read the transcripts so I can highlight pertinent facts. I'm all about hands on active learning. I cannot sit through hours of lecture. I found this out years ago during my first academic experience. Anyone know about potential transcripts?

Okay truly finally this time. Is anyone able to access 2600's "Virtual Classroom"? I keep trying to upload the Java Plug-in over and over with no success. Do we even need to access this area? I see there are three which leads me to believe there is one a week (?). I don't know if I can stand anymore video lectures!!! 

Lori can you get these questions answered for me? I'm just kidding (LOL!)
